In order to prevent others from accessing your account, you can take simple measure to protect your account.

How to protect your account:

  • Never reveal your Username and password in an email. DubaiPropertyAuctions will never ask for sensitive information of this nature via email.
  • Keep your password in a safe place
  • Never give your password to another person
  • Change your password every 30-60 days
  • Choose a password that uses a random combination of both numerals and letters
  • Use different passwords for the various online accounts you use (email, PayPal, etc).
  • Keep your virus alert software up-to-date, and check your system often for problems.
  • Use a firewall if you have a high-speed internet connection.
  • Avoid easy-to-guess passwords.

Someone requested a Forgot Your Password email for your account.

If you did not request this change, you can safely ignore the email you received. We send it as a security precaution when someone uses the "Forgot Your Password?" feature. The only way a password can be changed is if the email you received is actually accessed and the instructions followed. The email you received is generated when someone uses the Forgot Your Password feature.

When a Username is entered, a notice is sent to the email address registered to that account with instructions about changing the password. If you received this email unexpectedly, it is probably because someone else mistyped his or her own Username or your ID was mistakenly entered for some other reason. You may also want to check with friends or family members to see if they made the request.

In the interest of security, it is a good idea to change your password every 30 to 60 days.
