When you are outbid on DubaiPropertyAuctions (DPA), it means that another bidder has placed a higher Maximum Bid than yours. After being outbid, you are not the current high bidder.

Sometimes you will be outbid immediately when you enter your bid. This may seem surprising because the bid you entered was higher than the current bid shown on the Property Details page. This happens because another bidder had a higher Maximum Bid than yours. Your bid prompted DPA's Automatic Bidding system to raise the other member's bid above yours.

Remember: DPA will automatically increase your bid up to your maximum, but in order to avoid being outbid, you must have the highest Maximum Bid of all bidders for that property.

Outbid Notice

When another member's bid exceeds your Maximum Bid, you will receive an email/SMS notice stating that you have been outbid (see below).

You can click on the link in this notice to return to the Property Details page and increase your bid, if you like.

If you prefer not to receive this email/SMS, you can change your notification preferences by signing into your Account. Look under the 'My Preferences' box in your Account and click on Email / SMS 'Settings' to change your settings.
