It's easy to sell a property on DPA. Follow these steps and you're on your way!
  1. Register.
    Set up a Full Access Account by providing a valid credit card. This will allow you to sell a property.
  1. The 'Sell Your Property' process.
    It is a simple 5 step process which allows you to get your property listed for sale:

    • Step1: Choose a Property Type to sell
      Are you selling an Apartment, Villa, Town Home or Water Home? More about Property Types.

    • Step 2: Select the Development and Project
      A development may have numerous projects within it. For instance, The Palm Jumeirah is a development, while some of the projects in this development are Shoreline, Golden Mile and Marina Apartments.

    • Step 3: Enter Property and Listing Details
      Here you must enter the details of your property along with details for your property listing.
      Do you want to use the Auction System or Offer system? If on the Auction System, how long do you want your auction to run? What will your Starting Price be? What Reserve Price do you want to set? If on the Offer System, what will your Asking Price be?

    • Step 4: Confirm and Submit Property Details
      Now you will see a summary of the details you entered about your property and how you want the listing to proceed. Look this over carefully. If you are satisfied, confirm the details to submit your property.

    • Step 5: Submit Proof of Property Ownership
      You must provide a Proof of Ownership for the property you have submitted. This is to protect your property and ensure that another member does not list your property for sale without your knowledge.

      Please note: If you are a real estate agent listing properties on behalf of an owner, you must have prior consent from the owner before listing.
  1. Property information confirmed and listed.
    DPA will confirm that the property details you have submitted correspond with your Proof of Ownership, and your property will be listed. You will be notified via Email/SMS once your property has been listed.

    Your property listing will now begin..

    And when your property is sold..


  2. Sign Property Transfer Documents and Receive Payment.
    The Buyer will send their payment to the escrow account of DPA's Solicitor. The Solicitor will set up an appointment at the appropriate developer's office to complete the property transfer. You will be present at the meeting to sign the transfer of property ownership documents and receive payment from DPA's Solicitor. If you are unable to be in Dubai for the property transfer, you have the option of issuing an attested Power of Attorney to DPA's Solicitor to effect the transfer on your behalf. All relevant documentation can be handled via courier.
  1. Transaction Complete.
    It's that easy! You will have now successfully completed a property transaction.
